As a certified national guide Michelle enjoys showing Holland's sites and its nationals heritage such as the tulip fields of Keukenhof, the fishermens villages of Edam and Volendam, the windmills of Kinderdijk or the craftmens houses of Zaanse Schans. With in depth knowledge she talks about the history of the Netherlands, the variety of its landscape and the ongoing battle against rising water levels.
Michelle specialises in guiding in Amsterdam and as a proud citizen of the capital she likes to show her guests the famous and lesser known sites. This may be on foot, by bicycle, by bus or on a canal tour. Tours would take in the former workingmens neighbourhood called the Jordaan, the old city and the red light district where visitors would be introduced to the history of this charismatic city and its inhabitants.
